John Campbell (28 May 1798 – 3 July 1830) was a Scottish advocate and politician. He was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Dunbartonshire from 1826–1830.^[1]

He married Anna Jane Sitwell, daughter of Francis Sitwell and Anne Campbell, on 12 July 1824.1. They had two sons, Sir Archibald Islay Campbell of Succoth, 3rd Bt.2 (1825–1866) and Sir George Campbell of Succoth, 4th Bt.2. (1829–1874) ^[2]
